Supporting Yorkhill

Back in August, we mentioned that some members of Staff at Glasgow Angling Centre will be taking part in either the 10k or Half Marathon as part of this year's Great Scottish Run in Glasgow.  All the runners have been clocking up the miles over the past few months in preparation for the challenge and now the wait is finally over.  The lads will be on the start line this Sunday - probably full of adrenaline -  with one thing in mind, to do their best for Yorkhill Children's Foundation.

There is still plenty of time to support the staff by making a donation by visiting the Just Giving Page.  Your donation will make a big difference: from simple play activities to innovative medical equipment and ground breaking paediatric research, every penny will help to save or improve the life of a child.

This year's  event will be televised live on BBC2 this Sunday and will also be available on iPlayer, so keep an eye out for the lads.  All the staff at Glasgow Angling Centre would like to wish the lads best of luck for Sunday and express our thanks for all the kind donations received so far.
