Glasgow Angling Centre Staff Run For Yorkhill Children's Hospital

Staff at Glasgow Angling Centre will be taking part in either the 10k or Half Marathon on the 6th October 2013 as part of this year's Great Scottish Run in Glasgow.
This is in response to a member of staff who's child was recently admitted to Yorkhill Hospital in Glasgow due to severe illness.  Thankfully with the exceptional care and support of the Yorkhill Doctors, Nurses and Staff, the child is in much better health.
Some staff felt really passionate about 'giving something back' as a way of showing their appreciation and gratitude for the child's recovery.  Therefore Graeme Taylor, Alex Martin, Gavin Deanie, Brian Carney, David Locke and Chris Devlin have taken on the challenge and will run in either the 10k or half marathon to raise money for the Yorkhill Children's Foundation.

Every penny raised will go straight to the Foundation to help them fund any initiative that helps to save or improve the life of a child.  This can be anything from ground breaking paediatric research to buying innovative medical equipment.

If you would like to support the staff taking part in this challenge and help Yorkhill in continuing to provide life-changing care that positively impacts children and families, please donate by visiting our Just Giving page.
