How to tie the Sunshine Midge with Steve Cullen

With all the sunshine we've been getting, the weather has been excellent for getting outside and casting a line. We know that bright clear days can be a bit frustrating, so here's the Sunshine Midge tied by Steve Cullen. A simple yet highly effective buzzer pattern, perfect for stillwaters on a bright day. The Flexi Floss makes for a subtle segmented look, while the goose biots and Uni Collar on the exaggerated head give it a fish-tempting spot of colour.
It'll fish well year-round but Steve says this is his favourite for sunny days when fish are sitting a bit deeper being more selective and looking for something subtle and shiny in the water column.

The Sunshine Midge mimics a small chironomid (buzzer) and uses light-reflective materials to catch the attention of feeding Trout. Get a few of these ready for the sunshine and get catching!
