The RNLI Safety Roadshow have confirmed they will be attending the GAC Spring Open Weekend Event on the 7th, 8th and 9th of March 2025! Come along, speak to the team and bring your life jacket with you for a checkup.
The safety roadshow is stacked with useful information and guidance to increase awareness of safety on and around water. There are 1000s of anglers out every week pursuing our passion and we need to take steps to make sure we all get home safe to our families.
The RNLI Team will be instore towards the back of the shop all weekend carrying out FREE lifejacket clinics as well as providing safety advice to keep you safe every time you are on the water.

In addition to issuing general safety advice, the RNLI run a lifejacket clinic where anglers can bring their life jackets to be checked and where they can receive advice and instruction on the correct use and maintenance of life jackets.

The team pay particular attention to the automatic inflation type of jacket that's most commonly used among recreational anglers in the UK.
It's an essential item that should just part of the process anytime you're getting on the water but it's something that's all too easily taken for granted.
