Match four of the 2024 Edinburgh Winter League was fished on the 22nd of November at Newhaven East in very cold but calm conditions along the busy residential sea front.
28 Anglers weighed in a respectable 325 with the usual mixture of Dabs, Whiting & Codling. The sport was pretty consistent and every angler avoided the dreaded blank.

Winner on the night was EAC staff member Gordon Lyall with 24 fish. Longest fish was a 44cm Cod caught by Gav Owen. So far this year year 40 anglers in total have taken part in EAC store manager Ian Campbells league and we hope to see this number continue to grow as the years go on. Top three rods on the night were 1st Gordon Lyall 24 fish for 550pts 2nd Neil Cutler 20 fish for 485pts 3rd Steve Potts 21 fish for 476pts
