How to tie the Bare Back with Steve Cullen

Today we are taking a look at the Bare-Back Shrimp tied by Steve Cullen! Shrimp patterns are becoming ever more popular on reservoirs and more so amongst fly tyers, since they're so simple to knock together. The pattern Steve is tying, uses very little material and looks incredibly buggy with a body made of fox squirrel dubbing. It's no wonder fish are picking these flies up so easily, they do look the business! Get a few of these tied up for your next outing to your local water.

All of the materials needed to tie this fly are available from Glasgow Angling Centre as listed below, but as always, if you need any help finding materials or substitutes then we'll be happy to help.
