How to tie The Fox's Shuttlecock

Today we are checking out the Fox's Shuttlecock tied by Steve Cullen. If you're in the competition scene you may have recognised this name, the Fox's Shuttlecock is the creation of a father and son duo, Tony and Harry Fox. They almost exclusively fish this pattern wherever they go and according to Steve, always catch! Tied in a size 12 or 14 this is a super emerger pattern for any water with a buzzer hatch, with plenty of CDC to keep it buoyant it's definitely one you'll want to have in your box.

Materials Used:

Hook: Sprite S2100 Barbless Buzzer

Thread: UNI 8/0, Orange

Ribbing: Uni Floss, Black

Hackle: Veniard Super Select Cul De Canard

Dubbing: Genuine Seals Fur, Orange
