Edinburgh Angling Centre is NOT in the LEZ - Edinburgh Low Emission Zone Boundary!

The Edinburgh City Low Emission Zone (LEZ)  comes into effect from 1st June 2024, as you can see from the map above, there will be no changes for customers getting to the Edinburgh Angling Centre as we are well outwith the boundary of the LEZ and completely unaffected by the restrictions.

Edinburgh is amongst four cities in Scotland to introduce a Low Emission Zone (LEZ), The LEZ operates continuously, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It applies to all vehicles except those that are entitled to an exemption using automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) cameras and the zone is sign-posted at entry and exit points.

If you are planning a trip to Edinburgh you can check your vehicle's compliance online or come see us first, park for FREE and take one of the many bus services or a walk into town instead. If you're unsure just give us a ring on 0131 202 6351.

Where is the Low Emission Zone?

The LEZ boundary surrounds the city centre from: Tollcross in the south to Palmerston Place in the west along Queen Street in the New Town to Picardy Place around Abbeyhill and onto Holyrood Road along the Pleasance in the east before heading back along the Meadows to Tollcross.

You won't pass any of these on the approach to Edinburgh Angling Centre so pop in and see us no matter what vehicle you drive!

Located in the Granton area of the city, the store is within easy travelling distance of Edinburgh city centre, the airport, the bypass, the Forth Road Bridge, as well as the Haymarket and Waverley train stations and beyond with FREE parking for 150+ cars.
