Today we are checking out the Mini-Me Cormorant, tied by Steve Cullen! This fly is actually a mini variant of a Cormorant pattern, the difference being that the wing of the Mini-Me version is a lot shorter and there's a lot less "bling" to the fly, but as Steve explains, he likes to keep some of that "bling" added because it does make a difference!
This fly is perfect for Trout and will work exceptionally well on any stillwater venue, as well as streams and rivers. Get a few tied up on size 14 hooks and get out catching!
