FREE SFCA Coaching Coarse Fishing Taster Sessions at the GAC Autumn 2024 Open Weekend

Glasgow Angling Centre, Angling Scotland and the SFCA have teamed up to offer one-on-one coaching for all ages on the Forth and Clyde Canal, just 2 minutes walk from the GAC, on the 28th -29th September as part of the GAC Autumn Open Weekend Event - Scotland's largest FREE angling event

FREE Angling Taster/Development Sessions on the Forth & Clyde Canal as part of the Glasgow Angling Centre Open Weekend. 

• Come along and try fishing on the canal with qualified and Licensed Angling Coaches.  
• All bait and equipment provided.  
• Coaches will provide a range of coaching options covering the basics from setting up tackle, knot tying to casting tuition and hopefully landing your first fish!
• Answering your technical questions and providing advice and guidance.   

The event is open to anyone and is completely FREE. 

UNDER 16's MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT. 

Under 18s will also receive FREE membership of the SFCA which includes FREE fishing on the Forth and Clyde and Union Canals – ask coaches for details on the day!
