How to tie the Cut-Throat Cat by Steve Cullen

Today we are having a look at the Cut-Throat Cat, tied by Steve Cullen. If you are looking for a pattern that will provide results throughout the Winter, then the Cut-Throat Cat is what you need. Ideal for when Trout are feeding on fry, fattening themselves up for the cold Winter months.

It's a perfect fly for small stillwater venues but it can also be used on large reservoirs too! The Beaded head will allow this fly to flutter down through the water column and the long rabbit strip, paired with the fritz will create the disturbance needed to lure in those hungry Trout!

With the ability to create your own unique colour combos, it's no wonder many anglers have an assortment of these flies in their fly boxes. Get yours tied up today, get out early on your next trip and land some fish!

All of the materials needed to tie this fly are available from Glasgow Angling Centre as listed below, but as always, if you need any help finding materials or substitutes then we'll be happy to help.
