The Graphite frame
and side plates lend strength and keeps the weight down coming in at
just 533g. It Has the HT100 versa drag system producing 20lb of drag
pressure more than enough for most fish in the UK.
The anodized aluminium spool is mounted on a live spool meaning the spool rotates independent of the the other components reducing friction and will hold approximately 635m of 50lb braid. Internally the reel has 6+1 shielded stainless steel ball bearings a marine-grade bronze main gear and a stainless steal pinion gear. The running gear of the reel is designed to take the worst the sea can throw at it.
The large power handle and 6.1:1 gearing make retrieving and playing fish a breeze, taking in 101cm of line per turn of the handle.
This 30 size is the ideal reel for general fishing everything from Cod and Pollock up to light Conger and Tope fishing.
