How to tie the Ultimate Baddy by Steve Cullen

Today we are checking out Steve Cullen's Ultimate Baddy. This is a pattern of Steve's own design, which is a hybrid between a Daddy and a Booby. It's built to float and create disturbances when pulled through the surface of the water. It's a fairly easy fly to tie with very little materials required. According to Steve, orange will work, but other natural colours will draw fish in just as well. It's a fly worth tying and casting on any stillwater from small lochs to reservoirs.

Hook: Kamasan B175 Trout Heavy Traditional Size 10

Thread: UNI 8/0 Orange

Body: Veniard Foam Cylinders, Orange
Hackle: Stillwater Indian Hen Cape

Legs: Veniard Knotted Cock Pheasant Tail
Head: Veniard Foam Cylinders, Orange
