How to tie the Goldhead Blob by Steve Cullen

If you are looking for a pattern that will work well with all the bright weather we've been getting, then you'll want to have a go at tying Steve Cullen's Goldhead Blob! Steve's Goldhead Blob works extremely well on bright, sunny days, but it can also be used on those overcast days during the Winter months! It doesn't make sense, but as Steve says you'll have to take his word for it.

It's a fairly straightforward pattern with an unusual gold fringe that's simple to tie but a little attention to detail will make it more effective. Take your time to keep the Fritz fibres facing the correct way to create that large blobby body that's going to stand out, push water and get fish interested.

All of the materials needed to tie this fly are available from Glasgow Angling Centre as listed below, but as always, if you need any help finding materials or substitutes then we'll be happy to help.
