How to tie a Caretaker Buzzer by Steve Cullen

Today we are checking out the Caretake Buzzer, tied by Steve Cullen. Steve begins his video by explaining that the Caretake Buzzer is in fact a very old buzzer pattern and that it should be fished up high when the fish are cruising around the surface. He goes on to say that this particular pattern is one that's well used on the Chew Valley Reservoir and Blagdon Lake. Due to it's success at these notable locations, it's found its way across the UK, but strangely enough, it's never a pattern that's often seen in many anglers fly boxes. The end of May and beginning on June is the best time to use this pattern, but it can be used throughout the year. It's a simple pattern but very effective, so get a few of these tied and ready for your next outing!

All of the materials needed to tie this fly are available from Glasgow Angling Centre as listed below, but as always, if you need any help finding materials or substitutes then we'll be happy to help. Time to tie the Caretaker Buzzer, with the guidance of Steve Cullen.
