Tying the Ultimate Bloodworm by Steve Cullen

Today we are checking out a classic pattern that many of you will know a lot about. The Ultimate bloodworm tied by Steve Cullen. The Bloodworm is a fantastic Winter and early Season pattern purely because, during the colder months of the year, fish will be lurking nearer the bottom of the water. As Steve explains in his video, this pattern is also effective when paired with a Bung or float, suspending it just off the bottom or it can be used by itself, trotting it along the bottom. Get a few of these tied in various sizes ready for the start of the season this year!

All of the materials needed to tie this fly are available from Glasgow Angling Centre as listed below, but as always, if you need any help finding materials or substitutes then we'll be happy to help. Time to tie the Ultimate Bloodworm, with the guidance of Steve Cullen.
