How To Tie The Ogborne's Fancy by Steve Cullen

Today we are checking out the Ogborne's Fancy, tied by Steve Cullen. The Ogborne's Fancy is a wet fly that has found great success across both fisheries and wild rivers and lochs . It was designed by a well-known competition angler called Chris Ogborne. As Steve explains in his video, the Ogborne's Fancy shares some characteristics with the Blob fly, mainly due to it's bulky appearance and noisy profile. Steve goes on to say that this fly needs a really good dubbing, and makes use of Davy Wotton's SLF, a fantastic Dubbing that really brings a pattern to life. Get a few of these tied, ready to go, especially if you are visiting any fisheries!

All of the materials needed to tie this fly are available from Glasgow Angling Centre as listed below, but as always, if you need any help finding materials or substitutes then we'll be happy to help. Time to tie the Ogborne's Fancy, with the guidance of Steve Cullen.
