Today we are going to be checking out a rather simple fly pattern by Steve Cullen. The Brambling Puddle Bug is an easy to tie fly mainly because it only uses 3 different materials and a lot of wrapping. However, don't let its simplicity fool you, this pattern under a bung according to Steve is an absolute killer! One great thing about this pattern is that it can be tied in a variety of colours making them an awesome fly box filler! Get a few tied and look out your bung for your next session out!
