How to tie The Fritz Frenzy by Steve Cullen

The Fritz Frenzy! Today we are having a look at the Fritz Frenzy, but, in the way that Steve Cullen ties it. He explains in the video that this pattern is one he originally saw Davie McPhail tie and took inspiration to modify it in his own way. The way that Steve changes the pattern is by adding in a hackle made from a UV Fritz instead of using Hen. This fly makes for an excellent lure and finds great success in rivers and still waters.

All of the materials needed to tie this fly are available from Glasgow Angling Centre as listed below, but as always, if you need any help finding materials or substitutes then we'll be happy to help. Time to tie The Fritz Frenzy, with the guidance of Steve Cullen.

Steve Cullen will also be attending our Autumn Open Weekend this month! He will be at our famous Fly Tyer's Row chatting to customers and showing off his skills, tying all sorts of patterns!
