How to The Helmet Fry (Perch) By Steve Cullen

Today we are checking out Steve Cullen's Helmet Fry in a Perch pattern! Inspired by a pattern known as the Helmet Blob, Steve designed his own pattern to fit various venues targeting Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout and Perch! due to it's large Foam head, this fly is perfectly suited to being stripped through the water, enticing fish to chase and strike. It may look difficult to create, but Steve assures us that the fly is simple in its material and how it's tied. A fantastic pattern that can be created in different colours, as well as on different hook sizes!
