GR50 Series Fly Rods
First up we have the new Greys GR50 fly rod. The GR50 is the replacement for Greys all time best selling GRXI+ range and will be truly class leading, representing incredible performance at price point that offers unbelievable value. Manufactured from high grade carbon fibre in an all new advanced taper design the GR50 is a physically light, fast recovering high performance fly rod with modern cosmetics and styling.
The Greys GR50 features a non flash Ice Grey paint job with section ID and line up markings. Other features include a reelseat with hardwood burl spacer and aluminium hardware on line sizes #6 and below, and a full anodized aluminium reelseat with twin up locking rings on the #7 weight and above. A hybrid handle design with hard wearing rubber cork accents and a high grade full cork main grip is fitted to the GR50 and it's convenient 4 section design , light single leg guides in black nickel finish and hard sectioned tube makes it a sure fire winner in its class. There will be eleven rods in the range from 7’6” through to 10' rods in a range of line weights, priced from just £129.99. The Greys GR50 is due to arrive at GAC by October 2013!
GR30 Series Fly Rods
The new Greys GR30 fly rods will represent user friendly performance at a keen price point. With a slightly more forgiving action than the GR50, the Greys GR30 allows casters of all abilities to achieve high line speeds with the minimum of effort!
The GR30 will be finished in a subtle yet classy Metallic Olive colour, meaning the the GR30 looks every bit as good as it casts. With a smart Titanium finish reel seat, line up marks and top quality snake intermediates in Chrome Finish the Greys GR30 comes supplied in a partitioned cloth covered rod tube and should hit the shelves at GAC in October 2013 at prices from £99.99!
GR10 Series Fly Rods
The new entry level Greys GR10 fly rod represents the perfect stepping stone into the Greys fly rod range – A high performance, easy casting fly rod that exhibits many traits found in rods of much higher cost. The Greys GR10 has a powerful, solid feel yet still remains light and accurate in the hand.
The Gloss Black blank finish and matching black aluminium reelseat give the GR10 a smart understated look whilst the grip is constructed completely from hard wearing composite cork. These rods will offer amazing value for money with every model coming in at under the £80 mark and should be on sale at Glasgow Angling Centre by October 2013!
