Young Samuel Kavanagh had been asking to go fishing for Skate for years but it wasn't until after his 13th birthday did his dad think he was big and strong enough to try it, and took him out with Matty from Onyermarks. After a slow start he finally hooked this cracker and after a tough battle he finally boated this fine female Common Skate which was measured and estimated at over 200lb before being released to fight another day! Samuel cant wait to go out after Skate again now!
