Kayak anglers ready to start the Grand Slam!
Unfortunately the Cumbrian fishing mecca was not on its usual form and the fishing was tough. Although Trout and Pike were caught, it was the Perch that were proving to be elusive on the day, so on the big day itself, no one actually completed the grand slam. However there were some excellent prizes won and in third place Danny Williams caught 3 fish for a total length of 19 inches. In second place Andy Hoyle caught 2 fish for a total length of 39.5 inches and the winner, Simon Everett caught 2 fish for a total length of 46.5 inches.
