Allan Hutton was visiting Glengavel Reservoir for the first time when he got a very ferocious take. A great struggle ensued as he tried to gain some control and as he was starting to get the upper hand with the fish another Glengavel angler arrived and watched him bring the fish to the shore. He estimated the to be around the 5lb mark and assisted him with his net. The fish was caught using a Daiwa rod, #7 floating line and a Kate Mclaren on the dropper, size 12.
