Michael Low was fishing Carron Valley Reservoir close to the bank with small dry flies when this monster Rainbow Trout engulfed his offering just yards from the boat! After almost running out of backing and his boat partner having to start the engine and give chase the fish was finally netted and tipped the scales at 10lb 10oz, a personal best for the venue for Michael who lists Carron Valley as one of his favourite places to fish.
