How to tie a Paraloop Gnat (Spinner) by Davie McPhail

Similar patterns to this Paraloop Gnat Spinner Fly include the Black Gnat or High Visibility variant of the fly pattern.
All of the materials needed to tie this fly are available from Glasgow Angling Centre as listed below.  However, as always, if you need any help finding materials or substitutes then we'll be happy to help.  So let's get tying and learn to tie a Paraloop Gnat with Davie McPhail.



Materials Used:
Hook: Fulling Mill All-Purpose Medium size 10
Thread: Uni 8/0 - Black
Tail: Dyed Black Pheasant Tail Fibres
Rib: UTC X-Small Wire, Black
Body: Hi-Density Foam White
Sighter: White Aero Dry Wing
Paraloop Wing: Coq De Leon Dark Speckled and Black Aero Dry Wing
Thorax: Dyed Black Peacock Herl

Additional materials: Additionally, Davie made use of some Super Glue and Varnish on the head of the fly
