Tying the Kate McLaren Snatcher (Variant) with Davie McPhail

Davie ties his Kate McLaren variant of the classic Snatcher profile. A highly effective midge pattern fly that will take Trout on waters across the land.

Materials used: Hook: Kamasan B100 Size 12
Thread: Uni-8/0 Black
Tag: Glo-Brite Floss No.12 Lime Green
Rib: Uni Silver Wire small
Body: Black Seals Fur
Body Hackle: Indian Cock or Hen Dyed Black
Front Hackle: Indian Cock or Hen Natural Red
Cheeks: Dyed Orange Jungle Cock Coated with Bug-Bond UV Resin
