Tying a Grayling Bug with Davie McPhail

Davie demonstrates how to tie a Grayling Bug, ideal for this time of year when we turn our attention to the lady of the stream!



Materials Used:

Hook - Czech Nymph or Czech Nymph Fine Wire size 10
Thread - UTC 70 Yellow Olive
Rib - 3lb Clear Nylon or extra fine Ultra Wire
Back - Scud Back Light Olive 1/8
Under Body - Lead Foil
Body - Olive Hares Mask Fur and Light Olive UV Ice Dub
Thorax - Natural Fur Dub Fox Squirrel and Brown Olive Ice Dub
Colour Thorax and Head with a Brown Marker Pen
