Here are some handy timetables for the events at the
Open Weekend
so you can plan your day! If you are coming to see the big names the
best days are as follows, Matt Hayes - Friday/Saturday, John Wilson - Saturday/Sunday, Paul Young - Friday/Saturday/Sunday, Hywel Morgan
Friday/Saturday/Sunday.

Most of the casting demonstrations will take place on
the nearby canal basin. The Applecross Basin is just 2 minute walk from
the shop,
see the map here for details. This years SGAIC team will include great local instructors like John Milne,
Stevie Reid, John Hood, Billy Salvona, Alistair Mair and Keith Anderson and their help is much
appreciated - remember these guys give up their own time for FREE so go
and see them if you get the chance!

The fly tying demonstrations have move into the fly tying section of the store. This can be the busiest area during an open weekend as some
of the world top tyers show you how its done and we are sure you will be impressed with the new setup, sponsored by
Veniard and supported by
Partridge and
Fulling Mill. Keep an eye out for other
fly tying stuff going on around the store too!

These other slide shows and demonstrations are very
popular, with knowledgeable people from the industry like
Tronix and
Savage Gear letting you in on
the tricks of the trade from a wide range of angling disciplines like
sea angling and predator fishing. These will be held towards the rear of the store, in our outdoor lure tank and on our casting pool at the side of the shop.

There will be loads of thing to see and do on the
Open Weekend dates as well as some amazing bargains on fishing tackle. Keep an eye out on
