Tying a Duckfly Midge Pupa by Davie McPhail

Davie ties a buzzer pattern favoured in Ireland but equally effective for trout the world over!



Materials Used:

Hook - Kamasan B175 size 10
Thread - Black Uni-Thread 8/0 or UTC 70
Rib - Clear Wrap or Scud Back
Body - Dyed Black Pheasant Tail
Wingbuds - Goose Biots dyed orange
Thorax - Black Seals Fur or Sub mixed with Flashabou Rainbow Dubbing
Tail and Breathers - Glo-Brite Floss N/16
