Ultralite CC and DD - The latest reels from Hardy

With the recent price drop and deals on the Hardy Swift mk2 and Marksman reels we knew the next generation of Hardy reels was just around the corner - and we are pleased to announce that the new Hardy Ultralite DD and CC series reels will be available for you to see for the first time in the UK at the GAC Open Weekend on the 24th and 25th of September 2011! We have seen and used the prototypes and these are sure to become best sellers in 2012!
The new Hardy Ultralite DD
The Ultralite DD range of fly reels combines the legendary strength of Hardy fly reel design into a new Ultra large Arbour, lightweight design that is both supremely practical and aesthetically stunning. A worthy successor to the Swift mkII. Available in 4000, 5000, 6000, 7000, 8000, 9000 and 10000 sizes suitable for #4 trout lines to #11 spey lines.

The Hardy Ultralite CC
The Ultralite CC range of reels is a significant advance on the popular Marksman reel series. Perfectly sized and designed for light line applications the range covers lines from the ultra light 1# and 2# weights through to the standard size 5# river line, ensuring there is an offering for every light line enthusiast. Available in sizes 1000, 2000, 3000 and 4000 for line sizes #1 to #5.
